Irish Worry Stone Connemara Marble has been quarried by the same family for over three generations. It has been mined in the west of Ireland since the 19th century. Known as “the Gemstone of Ireland” Connemara Marble comes in over 40 shades of green and has a high magnesium content which is thought to aid in the absorption of calcium and magnesium. Most of all Connemara Marble is hand lifted from our family quarry in Lissoughter, Co Galway established since 1945.
